Ford Street Reserve (Ōpōtiki’s old Rose Garden) will be developed over the next three months and will be closed for construction this week.
The development will involve construction of new concrete foot paths, playground area including swings, see-saw, balance beams, shade pergola, water play area and double hot plate electric BBQ including picnic tables and drinking fountain and additional landscaping with hedges, shrubs and ground covers.
The existing playground will remain open until the contractor is ready to remove and install/reinstall the play equipment.
