About you
Are you a literary enthusiast with a passion for creating vibrant library spaces? Do you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative team environment?
You will play a pivotal role nurturing the library's atmosphere, curating unique programmes, and fostering a sense of wonder and awe among our diverse communities. Working with the public is rewarding and at times challenging. You’ll need to be confident and proactive in customer service; ready to work in a very public environment with a wide range of customers. You will be responsible for ensuring technical equipment and services are adequate and accessible for both staff and customers. A commitment to on-going learning and training is also important.
Ideally you will have:
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- High levels of competency with systems and technology
- The ability to provide technical digital guidance
- Hold qualifications or have experience within Mātauranga Māori
- Enthusiasm for co-design and delivery of high value services for our various communities
- Outstanding communication skills – written, oral and social media.
- A current driver’s licence
