Local helpline to assist those in hardship to access essentials
Our Civil Defence team is now operating local helplines to help people access essentials such as food and medication. This service is available to assist people in hardship and offered in addition to a range of other support offered by other agencies such as the Ministry of Social Development.
These measures will particularly assist the disabled, at risk groups, and people without access to their own transport.
The local helpline has been removed from this page as it is no longer current.
