Contractor pre-qualification scheme

Our new health and safety initiative - SHE Local Government Contractor Pre-qualification' will assist contractors in the process to become pre-qualified and approved.

All medium to high risk contractors will be required to be pre-qualified before undertaking any work for Kawerau, Whakatane and Opotiki District Councils. This will ensure Councils are using contractors who operate with effective health and safety management systems and are holding current and relevant insurances.
