Payment of fines
You have 28 days to pay your Infringement Notice. After this time, a reminder letter will be sent to the defendant and if the Infringement Notice remains unpaid after a further 28 days, it will be passed to the Court for collection. At this stage an additional cost of $30 is added to the original Infringement Notice, which may increase again if the fine remains unpaid 28 days after you are requested to pay by the court.
Below are the types of infringements that can be paid via this page:
- Dog infringements
- Litter infringements
- Building infringements
- Resource Management Act infringements
If you have a parking infringement fine see our Parking Infringements page for details on why they are issued and ways to pay.
