At yesterday's Ōpōtiki District Council Extra Ordinary meeting, council voted to make some facilities vaccine pass only and other facilities will be open to all. All requirements will be reviewed in a few weeks.
From Monday 28 February 2022, council chambers and i-SITE will both require vaccine passes to access the facilities. Te Tāhuhu o Te Rangi and front of house reception areas on St John St will continue to be available to anyone regardless of vaccination status. All sites will continue to use other risk reduction measures including masks, reduced numbers and sanitizer.
Council will put in place additional measures as needed to assist with scanning in and safety of staff and customers.
