New Ōpōtiki District Council CEO Stace Lewer
Ōpōtiki District Mayor, David Moore, today announced a new Chief Executive for Council, current Engineering and Services Group Manager, Stace Lewer will be taking up the role early in 2023.
“Speaking on behalf of all the councillors, we are very pleased that Stace has accepted our offer and is keen to get underway in his new role in the New Year. It was a unanimous decision and we believe he is a good match and aligns with our vision for the future of Ōpōtiki.
“Stace has been working for council for almost two years and has demonstrated his commitment to Ōpōtiki and getting the best outcomes for the community. He knows the issues and the people inside and out. We are very pleased to have him heading an outstanding team at council,” Mayor Moore said.
