Ngā Kete Hauora in collaboration with the Ōpōtiki District Council have come together to host the Pōhutukawa Festival, an evening filled with kai, entertainment, activities, hauora and happiness here in our hāpori.
Ōpōtiki isite Manager, Jospeh Hayes, explained that the Pohutukawa Festival covered three incredible events – the Kotahitanga Parade, the night market and concert.
“We have a few floats registered and they are looking amazing. People can still get their floats looking fantastic in time for this evening.
“You can't miss the chance to see the amazing Daughters of Ally and local performer Nikita Tapiki, who will keep the crowd vibing with their amazing energy.
“It's a perfect opportunity to get together with your community and make unforgettable memories during this holiday season!” Mr Hayes said.
The theme of the night market and parade is Kotahitanga - Celebrating unity in our hāpori
