The public are invited to join The Worship the Mayor, Councillors, and Ōpōtiki District Council staff in the ANZAC Day Commemorations with the Parade departing from the Ōpōtiki Returned Services Association Memorial Club, St John Street, Ōpōtiki, at 11:00am on Tuesday 25 April. Fall-in at 10:20am at the RSA.
The Dawn Parade will be held at Opeke (Waioweka) Marae. assemble at Ōpōtiki RSA at 6am (departing 6:15am) for transportation. Pōwhiri 6:30am.
Temporary Disruption to ordinary traffic
There sill be some disruption to through traffic due to road closures in the following streets to allow the passing/holding of the ANZAC Day Parade:
