Get requests in early for 2019-20 Annual Plan

What we're doing

We're starting work on setting our budgets for the 2019/20 Annual Plan. Year two of the Long Term Plan (LTP). We're looking for your input early to allow plenty of time for investigating options, presenting your ideas to Council, setting budgets and prioritising projects to ensure that there is minimal change to rates.If we receive requests late it is difficult to include them in the Annual Plan without significant impact on rates.

What you can do

Let us know early if you want something included in the plan. You might have an upcoming project you are seeking assistance with, you might want to request changes to an existing MOU, or you might just have a great idea for Ōpōtiki you would like to see included. Or you might want us to reduce impact on rates by telling us what you would like excluded or us to be doing less of. Whatever the reason, if you want to make a request, now is the time to do it. Don't wait for an official consultation period. If our 2019/20 Annual Plan is not significantly different from what we said we would do for year one of the LTP then we won't run a formal consultation process.
