Te huarahi whakamua mo te rohe o Ōpōtiki - The Long Term Plan for Ōpōtiki (LTP) lists Council's activities for the next 10 years and covers everything we do and how we pay for it. It sets the budget for the next decade, but gets reviewed every 3 years.
When the plan is being developed individuals, organisations and businesses can have their say on Council's suggestions for the direction, priorities, programmes and budgets for the next 10 years.
Our current LTP went out for public consultation on 7 August 2024 and after receiving submissions and holding a hearings and deliberations meeting on 18 September 2024 the final 2024-2034 LTP was adopted at an Ordinary Council meeting on 30 October 2024.
