2019 - Dangerous and Insanitary Building Policy

A review of the Ōpōtiki District Council Dangerous and Insanitary Buildings Policy was conducted as required by section 132(4) of the Building Act. The 2019 review took account of legislative amendments, organisational name changes and the views of Council.

Council ran a full special consultative procedure from 9 September to 18 October 2019 to seek submissions on the proposed changes to the policy and then adopted the final policy on 12 November 2019.
